'GrainHaven' originated from a heartfelt ambition: to introduce real Neapolitan pizza to London. Initiated by the Bianchi lineage in 1985, our little pizzeria commenced as a modest family venture, with family recipes passed down for generations.
Our founder, Marco Bianchi, mastered the craft of pizza creation during her explorations across Italy, apprenticing with renowned pizza chefs in Naples—the cradle of pizza. When she came back to the UK, she aspired to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, employing classical techniques and the best ingredients.
Starting as a humble 12-seat eatery, it has now expanded into a cherished local fixture, maintaining our dedication to excellence and authenticity. We continue the tradition with our original wood-fired ovens, crafting our dough from scratch daily, and selecting top-tier ingredients.
Currently, 'GrainHaven' is still under the ownership and management of the Bianchi family's second generation, who leads our devoted team. Though we have incorporated certain contemporary innovations, our core ethos has not changed: to serve delectable, real pizza that unites people.
